Comment spam is no longer funny

I have started getting way too much comment spam in the last few days. While I am honored that online casinos, mortgage companies and viagra peddlers want to post comments on my website, I would prefer to be left alone. I don't want to turn off comments completely since then I will lose lot of valuable feedback as well. Does anybody know of a good solution to curb comment spam on MovableType?
