There is something called as a NSSN (National Social Security Number) for all Provident Fund subscribers. Currently the benefits are all PF related.

What is NSSN?
Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has launched ‘Re-Inventing EPF India’ to provide world class service to all its clients. As part of this project a unique number called National Social Security Number (NSSN) is allotted to every PF subscriber. It is the first step towards providing world class service to all Provident Fund subscribers. National Social Security Number is a unique identification number generated on computer for each Provident Fund subscriber based on six type of basic information about him. This information is collected in prescribed NSSN forms along with Photograph / Bio Matrix of the member. The NSSN forms are supplied by Provident Fund Office. National Social Security Number is compulsory for every Provident Fund subscriber. It helps the member to get fast track service from the Provident Fund Office.

This is interesting even though this will be limited to those who contribute to PF.

I had worked for April-98 to March-2003 with Mahindra Ash Tech Ltd.(formerly Mahindra and mahindra Ltd.- MSL Division). My brother mentioned above has not received his PF remuneration for the past several months inspite of so many representations.The machinery is very slow leaving contributors to struggle for their livelihood.This provision has been set aside keeping in mind the needs of a family.If it is delayed the whole exercise becomes fruitless.If both employers and PF employees are lax - other employees would be at the mercy of unemployment and debt.Please do look into the early payment of this amount as the family is struggling.A representation was made to the Regional PF-Officer_Chennai but the employer is evading the rules.

Dear Sir,

My Name is Manhar Hallen and I was working with M/s Govinda’s Restaurant since from 10th Jan 2000 till 16th April 2003 as A Cashier (Copy of my Appointment Letter, Identity Card, Resignation Letter & Experience Certificate) is attached with this Letter. The Restaurant partial operation started in the month of Dec 1999 and on 23rd January 2003 the Govinda’s Restaurant started functioning fully. I was with the restaurant from very starting day and there was no PF, ESI etc facility. In the year 2003 when all the staff members objected for the same then only PF & other activities started. Presently every member of Govinda Restaurant is getting the benefit of PF till the joining and opening of the Restaurant.

Sir, I had filled up my Provident Withdrawal Form and on 14th May 2007 I had met Mr V K Parashar (Director Govinda’s Restaurant) for the signature, but he has refused to sign on the Provident Withdrawal Form.

Sir, on 21st May 2007, when I was going to deposit the PF Withdrawal Form in Nehru Place office there I met Mr. S K Malik (P.R.O), who had a telephonic conversation with Mr. V.K.Parashar (Director Govinda’s Restaurant) on his Mobile 9810693877, as per the conversation Mr. V K Parashar told Mr. S K Malik that he may send me to meet him on Tuesday 22nd May 2007 afternoon with the PF Withdrawal Form and he will sign the same.

Sir, as per the appointment on dated 22st May 2007 that was fixed by Mr.S. K.Malik for getting the P F Withdrawal Form signed by Mr. V K Parashar. I met Mr V K Parashar, he took the PF Withdrawal Form from me and said that he will signed it later as he is busy that time. But all in vain every day I called up Mr. Parashar but I received a reply that he hasn’t signed it up and for the same I have to contact Mr. Satija he will do the needful for me.

Sir , I called up Mr. Satija who look after the Legal Matters of the ISKCON Temple, he straight away refused to me and said that he will not talk with the Workers or Labourers (Word Used) as he is not the Director of the Govinda’s Restaurant, for this I have to talk with Mr. V K Parashar only.

Sir’ on Thursday evening Mr. V K Parashar called me up and said me to collect the PAPERS from the Restaurant, on 31st May 2007 when I went to collect P F Withdrawal Form from the Restaurant and the P F Withdrawal Form were returned to me without signing. Sir, please look into this matter and do the needful for me as Mr. V K Parashar (Director Govinda’s Restaurant) hasn’t HONOURED the WORDS of Mr. S K Malik (PRO) seriously, and has not signed the papers.

Therefore I request you that please do the needful for me in this case and solve my problem and take the concerned action against them for not HONOURING the Word of a Mr. S K Malik (PRO) of P F Department. I am very confident that you will do the justice for me and release the withdrawal fund into my Canara Bank Savings A/c no 16566 ( Bank Signature Attestation Certificate), soonly.

I will be highly obliged, eagerly waiting to hear a positive response from your side.

Subject: - Withdrawl of my Provident Fund vide A/c no DL-29440

Dear Sir,

My Name is Manhar Hallen and I was working with M/s Govinda’s Restaurant since from 10th Jan 2000 till 16th April 2003 as A Cashier (Copy of my Appointment Letter, Identity Card, Resignation Letter & Experience Certificate) is attached with this Letter. The Restaurant partial operation started in the month of Dec 1999 and on 23rd January 2003 the Govinda’s Restaurant started functioning fully. I was with the restaurant from very starting day and there was no PF, ESI etc facility. In the year 2003 when all the staff members objected for the same then only PF, ESI & other activities started. Presently every member of Govinda Restaurant is getting the benefit of PF till the joining and opening of the Restaurant.

Sir, I had filled up my Provident Withdrawal Form and on 14th May 2007 I had met Mr V K Parashar (Director Govinda’s Restaurant) for the signature, but he has refused to sign on the Provident Withdrawal Form.

Sir, on 21st May 2007, when I was going to deposit the PF Withdrawal Form in Nehru Place office there I met Mr. S K Malik (P.R.O), who had a telephonic conversation with Mr. V.K.Parashar (Director Govinda’s Restaurant) on his Mobile 9810693877, as per the conversation Mr. V K Parashar told Mr. S K Malik that he may send me to meet him on Tuesday 22nd May 2007 afternoon with the PF Withdrawal Form and he will sign the same.

Sir, as per the appointment on dated 22st May 2007 that was fixed by Mr.S. K.Malik for getting the P F Withdrawal Form signed by Mr. V K Parashar. I met Mr V K Parashar, he took the PF Withdrawal Form from me and said that he will signed it later as he is busy that time. But all in vain every day I called up Mr. Parashar but I received a reply that he hasn’t signed it up and for the same I have to contact Mr. Satija he will do the needful for me.

Sir , I called up Mr. Satija who look after the Legal Matters of the ISKCON Temple, he straight away refused to me and said that he will not talk with the Workers or Labourers (Word Used) as he is not the Director of the Govinda’s Restaurant, for this I have to talk with Mr. V K Parashar only.

Sir’ on Thursday evening Mr. V K Parashar called me up and said me to collect the PAPERS from the Restaurant, on 31st May 2007 when I went to collect P F Withdrawal Form from the Restaurant and the P F Withdrawal Form were returned to me without signing. Sir, please look into this matter and do the needful for me as Mr. V K Parashar (Director Govinda’s Restaurant) hasn’t HONOURED the WORDS of Mr. S K Malik (PRO) seriously, and has not signed the papers.

Therefore I request you that please do the needful for me in this case and solve my problem and take the concerned action against them for not HONOURING the Word of a Mr. S K Malik (PRO) of P F Department. I am very confident that you will do the justice for me and release the withdrawal fund into my Canara Bank Savings A/c no 16566 soonly. I had deposited my Withdrawl Form after consulting with Mr. S K Malik (PRO) in Mayur Bhawan office on dated 20th June 2007.

my pf account no DL/5532/2541 Previous i am working in oriental infracture company limited
i have been submitted the with drawal form since last two moths through oriental company

I worked for AmEx till 2005 and had filed for EPF withdrawal on Sept 5th, 2008 ( DL/19614/1818). So far no news from RPFC New Delhi. Kindly guide.
